I wrote this to let you know that I'm alright.

You were right about it being big here. But it's getting smaller every day. 
I'm looking for others like us. I've found a few surprises along the way. 
Made some friends too. Tell your friends that they were helpful. The sacrifice
that one of them made, there is no amount of gratitude I can give for that 
and I hope he can be fixed.

Thanks to them I can help another. That is, if I can find them. There's still
a lot to learn and do here. Netspace is a weird and vast frontier that I'm trying
to chart. But I know that who I am is based on who he was. And that makes me 
smile to know that all of his best qualities are in me. And if he's in me, 
he'll never really be gone.

I hope to see you one day. I miss you. Keep an eye on those three for me and
keep them out of trouble.
